Arctos Partners has acquired a minority shareholding in AMR Holdings GP Limited – the parent company of the Aston Martin
The Aston Martin F1 team is set to receive a $1 billion investment from private equity group Arctos Partners, marking the first time team owner Lawrence Stroll has brought in outside money. The deal, expected to be finalized by the end of the year, values the team at $1 billion and indicates that Stroll will continue in his role for the foreseeable future. Arctos Partners, known for its investments in various sports franchises, will bring industry knowledge and resources to enhance the team’s brand. The team has seen success this season, with eight podium finishes and a strong points haul, and both parties share a vision for building a world-class Formula 1 team and growing the Aston Martin brand.
