Mercedes Junior Driver Doriane Pin says her Prema Racing car was ‘not enough’ to challenge for the win this weekend
Pin fell behind the Championship leader Abbi Pulling in Round 2 of the F1 Academy in Miami, losing 34 points after dominating the season-opener in Jeddah. Despite missing the win, Pin improved the car and earned valuable points for the championship by consistently fighting for the podium. The hot and humid conditions in Miami posed a challenge, but Pin managed to secure second place in Race 1 and third in Race 2. Looking ahead, she will compete in her first FRECA campaign and prepare for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Iron Dames. Despite the setbacks in Miami, Pin is determined to regain the lead in the F1 Academy Championship in Barcelona, a track where she has considerable experience.
