Alex Malykin took LMGT3 pole in a dominant fashion in for the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship,
Ian James from The Heart of Racing team placed second in the #27 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, just under seven tenths slower than Malykhin. Ahmad Al Harthy took third in the #46 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3. The session began with 18 cars vying for the top 10 positions to advance to Hyperpole. Yasser Shahin in the #91 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3R initially set the fastest lap, but it was eventually surpassed by Ian James in the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3. However, Malykhin in the #92 Manthey Porsche secured pole position with the fastest lap time of 1:42.734. Other notable performances included Sarah Bovy in second place and Tom Van Rompuy missing out on Hyperpole by a narrow margin.
