Andrade is returning to IMSA after his successful endurance campaign with Tower Motorsports in LMP2. He will be driving the Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 in IMSA, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R with TF Sport in FIA WEC, and a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the ALMS. He believes that while both IMSA and FIA WEC have similar car lineups, they differ in their safety car and full course yellow rules. IMSA tends to have more restarts due to safety cars, while WEC allows cars to maintain their positions during full course yellows. Andrade finds the constant action in IMSA exciting for both drivers and fans, while WEC is more focused on performance and consistency. He enjoys participating in both series due to the passionate fans and prestigious racetracks they offer.
