Bianca Bustamante says she is “elated” to earn her maiden podium in 2024 in Race 2 after a disastrous Race
After an impressive recovery drive in Race 1, despite a penalty, Bustamante secured a P9 finish and then went on to claim her first podium of the season in Race 2. Her hard work and preparation paid off as she expressed her joy for achieving this milestone. Looking ahead to Round 3 in Barcelona, Bustamante is determined to maintain her podium streak and challenge the Championship leader. With a good understanding of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where she aims to rectify past mistakes and climb higher in the standings, Bustamante is focused on continuing her momentum in the upcoming races. Currently ranked fifth in the 2024 F1 Academy Drivers’ Standings, her next goal is closing in on Haas-nominated driver Chloe Chambers, who finished Race 1 in third place.
