Fermin Aldeguer cruised to a second career Moto2 win in commanding fashion as he defeated Pedro Acosta in the Thai
Aldeguer, starting from pole position, had a strong start and quickly built up a lead in the early laps of the race. He maintained his lead by pulling away from Acosta on the straight sections of the track. Despite a small mistake towards the end of the race, Aldeguer regained his composure and secured his second career win with a 3.4-second lead over Acosta. Acosta’s second-place finish brought him closer to winning the Moto2 rider’s title, extending his points advantage over Arbolino. Chantra, the home favorite, finished third. Despite a jump start penalty, Canet narrowly missed out on a top ten finish due to several riders crashing out in front of him. Dixon collided with Vietti, resulting in both riders retiring from the race. Roberts and Garcia also crashed out during the race.
