The Corvette E-Ray is the first electrified Corvette ever made, with a hybrid powertrain combining a 6.2 liter V8 engine and electric all-wheel drive capabilities. This unique combination results in 655 combined horsepower, allowing the car to reach 60 MPH in just 2.5 seconds. It will serve as the pace car for the 108th running of the Indy 500, showcasing Chevrolet’s innovation in performance technology. The car features an Arctic White exterior with jet black and natural carbon fiber accents, along with the iconic red Indy 500 logo. Sarah Fisher, the official pace car driver, will have additional communication hardware for race control during the event, which takes place from May 14 to May 26.
