Valentino Rossi and Luca Marini were victorious in the 100km of Champions on Saturday.
At the annual event hosted by Rossi at his Ranch, the duo (Rossi and Marini) won the 50-lap race in 1:45’54”. Elia Bartolini and Celestino Vietti finished second, while Andrea Migno and Franco Morbidelli completed the podium. Ferran Cardus and Diogo Moreira secured the fourth place. Fabio di Giannantonio and Dennis Foggia came in fifth, representing Rossi’s VR46 MotoGP team. MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia and VR46’s Marco Bezzecchi finished sixth. It is worth mentioning that Pedro Acosta and Remy Gardner finished 12th, whereas Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Verona claimed the 18th position. Victory was achieved by the hosts Rossi and his brother Marini. Interestingly, Marini had won the Americana race at the Ranch the previous day, marking his first win on a Honda and signaling a promising new adventure as he joins Repsol Honda for the 2024 MotoGP season.
