Seven MotoGP riders sign up for Valentino Rossi’s 100km of Champions race

January 12-13 will see the ninth edition of the ‘100km of Champions’ dirt track race held at Valentino Rossi’s MotoRanch in Tavullia.

The off-season event at the VR46 Academy training track brings together current and former MotoGP riders, including seven current MotoGP riders and nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi. This year’s line-up features the likes of Pedro Acosta, Augusto Fernandez, Fabio di Giannantonio, Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini, Danilo Petrucci, Remy Gardner, Tito Rabat, and Michael Ruben Rinaldi. The event includes various competitions, such as the individual ‘Americana’ elimination contest and a 100km race. Last year’s individual contest was won by Luca Marini, while the 100km race was won by Elia Bartolini and Lorenzo Baldassarri. The race consists of 50 laps with rider swaps every 5 laps.
