Fabio Di Giannantonio continued his strong form with a P2 finish in the short race and went on to win his first-ever race in the premier class, overtaking Francesco Bagnaia. Bagnaia showed good pace throughout practice but struggled in the sprint and made a big mistake during the race. Luca Marini had rear tire trouble in the sprint but managed to secure an impressive podium finish. Maverick Vinales had difficulties overtaking and missed out on a podium spot. Brad Binder had a strong weekend, finishing fifth in the main race. Alex Marquez settled for fourth place in the sprint and followed it up with a sixth-place finish in the grand prix. Fabio Quartararo had a strong race, moving up to seventh place. Enea Bastianini, the winner of the 2022 Qatar grand prix, had a disappointing qualifying and missed out on a podium finish. Jack Miller showed good pace but couldn’t keep up with Bastianini. Jorge Martin struggled with grip in the main race and finished tenth. Marc Marquez had a strong start but lacked the necessary grip and pace. Johann Zarco made a couple of mistakes, including one that caused him to clip Marc Marquez on the final lap. Marco Bezzecchi had a quiet race and finished 13th. Joan Mir had a disastrous performance in the sprint but recovered with a good ride in the main race. Augusto Fernandez was the final points scorer, outperforming his teammate. Franco Morbid.
