Fermin Aldeguer got a far from perfect start but worked his way back into the race, then powered away for a third win in a row in the Moto2 Qatar Grand Prix at Lusail.
the championship and to showcase his skills in the Qatar Moto2 race, Aldeguer gave a strong performance for his third consecutive win. Starting fourth, he ran wide on the first lap but quickly made up ground, overtaking other riders and taking the lead by lap nine. Meanwhile, Manuel Gonzalez fought his way up the ranks and secured his first ever grand prix podium finish in second place. Aron Canet, who held second for most of the race, had to settle for third after a battle with Gonzalez. Jake Dixon and Ai Ogura had a fierce battle for fourth, with Ogura ultimately taking the position. Celestino Vietti rallied for sixth, while Somkiat Chantra finished seventh. As for newly crowned Moto2 world champion Pedro Acosta, he had a challenging weekend and finished twelfth in the race. Nevertheless, Aldeguer once again stole the spotlight in his successful championship-winning season.
