Marco Bezzecchi explains why he rejected chance of extra year in new contract
Bezzecchi recently signed a one-year deal with Mooney VR46, but he revealed that Valentino Rossi and Alessio Salucci tried to convince him to stay until the end of the 2025 MotoGP season. He had the opportunity to join the Pramac team, but he chose to remain with the Rossi-owned outfit. While it was a tough decision to pass up on a full factory bike, Bezzecchi felt comfortable rejecting Pramac because of the support he has received from Ducati. Although he doesn’t have the newest bike, Ducati has been providing him with fantastic support and they continue to work with him to perform at his best. He believes he won’t be missing out on any support going forward.
