KTM team boss backs Miller “s***” claim: “Five riders, four bikes, not possible”
Dorna rejected KTM’s request to have a fifth bike in the 2024 grid, suggesting instead that they use a rider as a reserve, with additional wild card opportunities. Jack Miller called this role “shitty” and now his team boss, Guidotti, has expressed doubt as well. KTM currently has five riders contracted for next season, and a solution to fit them onto four bikes has yet to be determined. There is speculation that Augusto Fernandez could be the rider replaced temporarily by Pedro Acosta, although nothing has been confirmed. KTM’s plans for expansion include potentially buying an existing satellite team in 2025, and there are even rumors of tempting Marc Marquez onto an MV Agusta.
