‘I really liked it’ – Brad Binder takes carbon fibre chassis to the top
The composite frame, which was tested by Dani Pedrosa earlier this month, was also tried by Brad Binder and Jack Miller during a test on Monday. Miller indicated that the new frame improved grip. KTM delivered the composite design for Binder and Miller to try in Friday practice. Binder’s lap time broke a lap record set by Jorge Lorenzo in 2015. Binder was pleased with the new chassis, stating that it helped him on the exit of corners. Miller also felt good on the new frame, but had to switch back to his old bike after a fall. The team is working towards next year’s championship and making the most out of this season’s development.
