‘I don’t want to say an excuse’ – Aleix ‘sorry because I ruined Binder’s race’

Aleix Espargaro has taken full responsibility for his collision with Brad Binder during the MotoGP sprint at Mandalika.

Espargaro crashed out of the race while trying to overtake Binder, apologizing afterwards for causing the incident and ruining Binder’s race. He acknowledged that he made a mistake and lost the front end of his bike in a dirty part of the track. Despite the crash, Binder continued racing but finished last, struggling with the hard front tire. He mentioned that the track was difficult for overtaking and considered the incident a racing incident, unfortunate but part of the sport.
