Fabio Di Giannantonio said he tried everything to secure his first win in MotoGP but that front tyre pressures were a big problem in the Qatar sprint.
The Gresini rider had a poor start, dropping from second to sixth position. He had a problem with his front ride-height device, which didn’t go off for half a lap. Despite these challenges, he managed to make his way back towards the front of the field and put pressure on Jorge Martin. However, he was unable to overtake him due to the high front temperature and the difficulties of following and overtaking on the track. He was on the limit throughout the race but couldn’t make the move.
