BMW are poised to become a force in 2024 WorldSBK season as financial investment, the addition of Toprak Razgatlioglu and a new test team are changes that have all been made.
BMW has a strong commitment to their WorldSBK programme and has made significant investments in bike development since becoming a full factory team. Similarly, KTM has established itself as a strong contender in MotoGP with consistent race wins. BMW’s performance in WorldSBK may improve following the addition of Razgatlioglu, who is considered one of the best Superbike riders despite narrowly missing out on the title. BMW’s decision to sign Razgatlioglu alongside Van Der Mark demonstrates their determination. Additionally, BMW has assembled a talented test team with the inclusion of Guintoli and Smith, similar to KTM’s renowned test team. This should contribute to the advancement of the M 1000 RR motorcycle.
