Axel Bassani says his feeling with the Kawasaki WorldSBK machine is getting better and better after day-one of the Jerez test.
Italian rider Axel Bassani had the opportunity to test alongside his teammate Alex Lowes on Wednesday after replacing Jonathan Rea at Kawasaki for the test. Bassani, along with factory Honda duo Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge, as well as rookie Tarran Mackenzie and Adam Norrodin, focused on adjusting the bike’s setup, especially the front end. Bassani expressed satisfaction with the progress made, stating that although it’s challenging to adapt from the Ducati, he is gradually feeling more comfortable with the bike. This is also the first time Bassani has had a teammate since joining the World Superbike class, and he sees it as a positive opportunity to learn and improve. He looks forward to continuing their work during the winter break in preparation for the upcoming season.
