Aprilia: ‘If Marquez or Quartararo are free, we don’t particularly need them'
The MotoGP rider market depends on the current dissatisfaction of the ex-world champions of Honda and Yamaha, who will decide whether to stay or leave after the Monday test at Misano. Despite rumors of a possible exit, Marquez and Quartararo are still contracted to their current teams for next year, and Aprilia doesn’t seem concerned. According to Aprilia’s technical director, the team is content with their current riders, Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales, who have shown improvements and potential. Aprilia also has satellite riders, Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez, whom they believe have great talent and just need support and time to grow. While Marquez and Quartararo are potential options, Aprilia does not necessarily feel the need to pursue them.
