The 2024 MotoGP rookie has displayed maturity and skill in various aspects of the sport, handling pressure and media attention with composure. However, he believes that MotoGP needs to revive intense rivalries among its riders, similar to past rivalries involving Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi, and Marquez. Acosta emphasizes that fans desire passionate battles on the track, as seen in F1 with Verstappen’s aggressive style. Moving forward, Acosta will leave the Red Bull KTM Ajo team and join the Tech 3 GASGAS team, marking his first departure from the Ajo outfit since entering the grand prix paddock in 2021. Despite his desire to bring his entire team to the MotoGP class, Acosta understands the challenges of making that happen.
