Toyota’s Kalle Rovanpera holds a narrow lead in Rally Finland after a tough battle in changeable conditions on Friday. Despite concerns about his performance on gravel, he managed to finish the day 4.9s ahead of Thierry Neuville. Rovanpera showed strong pace, winning two stages in dry conditions and coping well with intermittent rain showers. He increased his lead further in the afternoon but faced challenges, admitting the run was “scary”. Neuville and Fourmaux also put up a fight, with Fourmaux dropping to third by the end of the day. Other notable performances included Katsuta in fourth, Pajari in contention, and Ogier finishing seventh.
