“Sebastien Ogier has taken the lead in the Acropolis Rally Greece, despite facing punctures along with other World Rally Championship crews during a challenging Friday morning.
Ogier holds a 6.1s lead over Ott Tanak, with Adrien Fourmaux in third place, trailing by 14.4s.
The rough gravel stages posed difficulties, with Ogier initially setting the pace but facing challenges due to road cleaning effects.
Punctures and tire damage affected several crews in the early stages, causing shifts in the leaderboard.
Thierry Neuville’s front-left puncture cost him the lead, allowing Ogier to regain the top position.
Ogier remains optimistic, describing his start to the rally as “perfect” despite the tire issue.”
