Liam McGill closed the gap on long-time Civic Cup points leader Alistair Camp with a strong performance at Oulton Park last weekend. McGill, who had dominated the previous triple-header at Croft, added a podium finish to his victory from pole position, with Camp constantly challenging him throughout the races. Despite challenges, McGill managed to secure third place while Camp recovered to eighth after a setback on the final lap. With only two double-headers left, McGill is just three points behind Camp in the standings.

In the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup, two-time champion Robbie Dalgleish overcame engine troubles to secure victory in the R50 category after an intense battle with Chad Little and Stuart McPhaden. Dalgleish held off his competitors by a narrow margin, showcasing his skill and determination on the track. Meanwhile, the TCR UK championship saw Adam Shepherd continue his strong performance, earning maximum points and closing in on championship leader Callum Newsham. Shepherd’s consistent results put him within six points of the championship lead.

Simon Allaway’s Lotus Esprit powered by a Chevrolet V8 engine dominated the CNC Heads Sports/Saloons races with back-to-back victories. Despite mechanical dramas sidelining top qualifiers, including Ben and Chris Roberts, Allaway’s strong performance and Alek Modro’s second-place finish in the finale highlighted the competitive nature of the series.
