Rowbottom Seizes Victory in Action-Packed BTCC Snetterton Showdown

“Dan Rowbottom secured his first win of the season in a competitive British Touring Car Championship race, narrowly beating Adam Morgan to the finish line by 0.355 seconds.

Rowbottom’s strategic defense and battle with Dan Lloyd played a crucial role in his victory, as he regained the lead from Lloyd during the middle stages of the race.

Driving the NAPA Ford Focus ST, Rowbottom was the highest-placed car on soft Goodyear tyres, while others in the top positions were on hard rubber, adding to the challenge.

Despite a strong start by Ash Sutton, it was Rowbottom who took the lead after a maneuver at the esses, maintaining a narrow gap ahead of his competitors.

The intense competition saw Tom Ingram’s Hyundai suffer damage and retire from the race, allowing Rowbottom to focus on defending his lead from Lloyd and Morgan.

In the end, Rowbottom’s skillful driving and car performance helped him secure the hard-fought victory, with Tom Chilton finishing third to complete the podium.”
