Before the Italian Grand Prix, the factory KTM MotoGP riders are quietly optimistic, having had a productive test day at Aragon. Pedro Acosta expressed hope for a strong showing at the upcoming race weekend, aiming to be as competitive as they were at Aragon. Despite facing tough competition at Aragon last year from top riders, the team is determined to put up a good fight.
Acosta emphasized the importance of replicating their consistency and competitiveness from Aragon at Mugello this weekend. The team acknowledges the challenges they still face, particularly in traction and turn-in abilities. Brad Binder is encouraged by the progress made during the Aragon test and believes they can continue to build momentum at the Italian Grand Prix.
Binder anticipates that the aero changes they are implementing will provide some improvements in traction and stability on both wheels. With a focus on starting strong and refining their set-up throughout the weekend, the KTM team is prepared to tackle the challenges of Mugello and aim for a successful performance.
