The MotoGP World Championship promoters have struck a deal with Harley-Davidson to introduce a one-make series in the upcoming grand prix calendar, as reported by Autosport.
Although official details are pending, the series is anticipated to comprise up to seven events, with each event featuring two races.
It remains uncertain if the new series will fall under the jurisdiction of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), potentially boosting its exposure and prestige.
The Harley-Davidson championship will alternate with MotoE, which kicks off its 2025 season with a seven-round calendar starting at the French Grand Prix this weekend.
One confirmed round of the new championship will take place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, among approximately eight teams and 16 riders, each with a two-rider lineup.
Race weekends will include a practice session, a timed qualifying session, and two races – one on Saturday and one on Sunday, offering an intense competition format to fans.
While the American King of the Baggers series featuring Harley-Davidson and Indian is well-known for its distinctive bikes, the upcoming international series, expected to be announced imminently, is entirely separate and unrelated.
