Oscar Piastri was frustrated after missing the chance to start his final qualifying lap and ended up in third place for the Austrian Grand Prix. Lando Norris secured pole position, overshadowing Piastri, and will start alongside Charles Leclerc. A late yellow flag, caused by Pierre Gasly’s spin, prevented Piastri from improving his time in Q3. Piastri believed he had the pace for the front row but missed the opportunity due to the incident. Despite the setback, he remained optimistic about his chances for a good race. Ferrari’s unexpected performance posed a challenge, but Piastri was determined to make the most of the situation.
