The four-time British Touring Car Championship title winner Colin Turkington is set to make his Super Touring debut at Brands Hatch at the end of the month. He will be driving a Vauxhall Vectra at the Super Touring Power event on June 28-29. This will be his first time ever driving a car from the BTCC’s halcyon era. Turkington won the Ford Fiesta championship in 2001 to enter the BTCC but Ford had pulled out by then, marking the end of the Super Touring era. He will race the ex-Jason Plato Vectra on the Grand Prix circuit on Saturday, then switch to the MG ZS on the Indy circuit on Sunday. Turkington is excited for this new experience and grateful for the opportunity to finally drive a Super Touring car.
