Two weeks ago in Canada, Lando Norris apologized for crashing into McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, and the two repeated their intense battle at the Austrian Grand Prix. Piastri almost collided with Norris as they fought for the lead. In Austria, they were clear of the field and allowed to race freely. Piastri’s risky move at Turn 4 prompted a warning from his engineer not to repeat it. McLaren’s ‘Papaya Rules’ ensure fair racing between teammates. Team principal Andrea Stella praised the competitive but respectful racing between Norris and Piastri.
