Ocon expressed surprise at Doohan’s early demotion, believing the driver showed promise and deserved more chances to prove himself. The handling of driver line-ups and constant changes in leadership at Alpine have raised concerns about the team’s management practices. Ocon acknowledged the competitiveness for F1 seats but criticized the decision to replace Doohan abruptly, emphasizing the dedication and effort drivers invest in pursuing their F1 dreams.
