At the Canadian Grand Prix, Haas marked its 200th grand prix by using a version of its 2016 debut livery, celebrating a significant milestone. The team, once on the brink of folding during the COVID-19 pandemic, has now emerged stronger and more competitive under team boss Ayao Komatsu’s leadership. Transitioning from being at the back of the grid to becoming a midfield contender with new driver pairings, Haas finished sixth in the constructors’ standings after its 200th race. Reflecting on the journey, Komatsu expressed pride in the team’s progress and fighting spirit, recalling both highs and lows experienced over the years. Despite facing challenges in maintaining consistency and performance in F1’s tight midfield, Haas continues to show potential with drivers Esteban Ocon and rookie Oliver Bearman delivering strong performances and scoring points.
