Despite feeling the effects of two big crashes on Friday, Marquez secured a sprint race victory on Saturday, revealing some pain in his finger and right arm.
He noted that while his performance was not greatly affected, his confidence and riding style may suffer due to the injuries.
Marquez emphasized the importance of not risking another major crash, focusing on minimizing championship point loss in the race.
Although not the fastest rider in the sprint race, Marquez’s strength in braking played a crucial role in his victory over his brother Alex at the Assen circuit.
