Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Andre Lotterer expressed his desire to venture into rallying after living out his dream of driving a World Rally Championship car. Raised around rallying due to his father’s involvement in a rally team in Belgium, Lotterer recently experienced a WRC Citroen DS3 and a Hyundai i20 Coupe as a passenger alongside Thierry Neuville. His admiration for the agility and control of WRC cars has sparked interest in further rally participation, possibly even exploring a Dakar Rally program in the future. Despite focusing on sportscar commitments with Hyundai and the upcoming Le Mans 24 Hours, Lotterer remains enthusiastic about potential rally opportunities on the horizon.
