Ford is exceeding expectations in contributing to the project, including real-time part production and testing. The challenges of F1 development are pushing Ford to new limits, unlike their other motorsport engagements. Developing an F1 power unit takes longer and requires higher precision and quality control compared to other racing projects. Rushbrook mentioned that the program for the current power unit development is more extensive than their past ventures.
