Ferrari secured their third consecutive victory in this season’s World Endurance Championship at the Spa 6 Hours, with James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi leading the charge.
Their win came after a fierce competition from the sister 499P Le Mans Hypercar and the Alpine A424 LMDh, making it a close-run affair at the Belgian race track.
Despite dominating qualifying, Ferrari faced challenges from Alpine, BMW, and Peugeot during the race, showcasing intense competition among the top teams.
In a strategic move, Pier Guidi overtook his teammate Nielsen in the final hour after a decisive pit stop, securing the lead and ultimately the victory for Ferrari.
The race saw various dramas, including a puncture for the Alpine team and retirements for BMW and Peugeot, affecting the final podium positions.
In the end, Toyota claimed fourth place, with the Jota Cadillacs finishing fifth and sixth, highlighting the dynamic and competitive nature of endurance racing at the highest level.
