Rowe BMW secured victory at the Nurburgring 24 Hours race following a clash involving the Manthey EMA Porsche, resulting in Raffaele Marciello, Kelvin van der Linde, Jesse Krohn, and Augusto Farfus claiming the win.
Initially, the #911 Porsche led by Kevin Estre seemed to have control of the race, closely followed by the Rowe BMW, with less than half a minute gap between them.
However, a post-race penalty of 100 seconds given to Estre for causing a collision while lapping another car shifted the victory to the #98 BMW.
Despite protests from the Manthey EMA Porsche team, the penalty stood, securing the win for Rowe BMW, marking their second triumph at Nurburgring.
The race saw intense battles and unexpected turns, including a power outage triggering a red flag, but ultimately, Marciello, van der Linde, Krohn, and Farfus emerged victorious in their respective maiden or subsequent wins at the prestigious event.
