Binder “had my bike back” in Jerez MotoGP practice breakthrough
The South African rider performed well in the beginning of the season with podium finishes in Qatar but has struggled to replicate that success since then. In America, changes to the bike setup didn’t work out as expected, leading to a disappointing performance in qualifying and the race. Despite a crash during practice in Jerez, Binder is pleased with recent tweaks to the front end of his bike, which greatly improved his comfort and confidence on the track. However, he unfortunately missed out on advancing to Q2 due to the crash. Binder considers the recent improvements to be the best he’s felt all year, aside from the incident in Jerez. Despite a foot injury and a crash, he acknowledges being lucky to escape without major harm.
