Senior figures at Aprilia have hinted at Jorge Martin staying with the Italian team in 2026, but have not officially confirmed the end of their contract dispute with the world champion. Martin recently returned from long-term injury, tested at Misano, and will participate in the Czech GP next weekend. Aprilia team manager Paolo Bonora expressed positivity about retaining Martin, emphasizing their happy test session. CEO Massimo Rivola’s remarks suggested that Martin’s desire to leave might be a thing of the past. This implies that Aprilia may have resolved the dispute in their favor and are eager to see Martin back on track after a successful test at Misano. Martin’s participation in the Czech GP hinges on passing a fitness test on July 17.
