MotoGP visa chaos continues as statement released by Indian GP organiser
Despite some delays in visa issuance, over 500 visas have been granted for the MotoGP event at the Buddh International Circuit. One of the riders, Marc Marquez, had to reschedule his flight due to visa complications but has now received his visa. Fairstreet Sports and the state government of Uttar Pradesh are confident that the event will proceed as planned. They assure that they are working tirelessly to resolve any visa delays and clear pending visas. The organizers express gratitude for the support and cooperation of the Indian Government and remain confident that all race personnel will arrive in India timely and safely. Additionally, there have been concerns about the safety of the track, raised by Aleix Espargaro, as it has not yet been homologated for MotoGP.
