Alex Lowes has praised new WorldSBK team-mate Axel Bassani for the work they’re putting in together at Kawasaki.
On the first day of the Jerez WorldSBK test, Lowes worked on electronics, RPM, and suspension parts alongside teammate Bassani. Despite struggling with injuries last season and finishing low in the championship standings, Lowes is now the team leader and is enjoying his new position working with Jonathan Rea’s former crew chief Pere Riba. They focused on electronic and suspension modifications, as well as a chassis balance change. Lowes praised Bassani, who is entering his first season as an official factory rider, and mentioned that they still have work to do before the January tests and next season.
