Lando Norris and McLaren are off to the stewards, and history says a big penalty is coming.
Lando Norris and McLaren face potential penalty at the Monaco Grand Prix due to a technical failure during second practice. Norris experienced a steering wheel shutdown while exiting the tunnel, forcing him to abandon the car as marshals attempted to move it. Despite the efforts to clear the car using the Clutch Disengagement System (CDS) button, it was eventually trolleyed away. Norris and McLaren are required to meet with stewards at 19:00 local time in Monaco. This incident echoes a previous situation with Liam Lawson in Canada, resulting in Racing Bulls being fined €30,000, with a portion suspended pending any future infractions.
