Charles Leclerc has been with Ferrari since his junior racing career, yet continues to have firm belief in the Scuderia’s project.
Charles Leclerc recently shared that Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur played a key role in his decision to extend his contract with the team.
The new deal, announced ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, reportedly includes a substantial increase in Leclerc’s salary.
The contract is said to now stretch until the end of 2028, with Leclerc expected to earn around €50 million annually.
This significant investment in Leclerc and teammate’s contracts has made Ferrari’s total driver salary bill approximately €110 million per year, with Lewis Hamilton earning a reported €60 million.
Leclerc’s devotion to Ferrari’s project, guided by Vasseur, underscores his commitment to the team and his ambition to secure an F1 drivers’ title in Ferrari red.
Despite previous setbacks, Leclerc remains confident in the team’s future direction and is convinced that the collaboration with Vasseur will lead them back to the top of the grid.
Leclerc’s trust in Vasseur’s vision and the team’s innovative approach to car development solidify his belief in the project’s success, emphasizing his dedication and faith in Ferrari’s long-term goals.
