Max Verstappen responded to George Russell’s comments about the possibility of them teaming up at the Nurburgring 24 Hours, mentioning his GT3 project and F1 championships.

Verstappen narrowly missed victory at the 2026 Nurburgring 24 Hours due to reliability issues with his car, sparking discussions in the Montreal paddock during media day for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Despite their history of clashes and the speculation around their future in the championship, Russell hinted at the idea of sharing a car with Verstappen, saying “never say never.”

When asked about the potential partnership, Verstappen downplayed the suggestion, emphasizing his focus on F1 and GT3 racing compared to Russell’s full dedication to Formula 1.
