Many questions were raised about Sergio Perez’s return to F1, but he has answered a lot of his critics.
Cadillac team principal Graeme Lowdon has praised the impact of Sergio Perez since his F1 comeback. Perez, after a disappointing season with Red Bull in 2024, joined Cadillac with Valtteri Bottas. Despite Cadillac’s struggles at the back of the grid, Perez’s performance has been noteworthy. The team is ahead of Aston Martin in the constructors’ standings, thanks in part to Bottas’ 13th place in China. Lowdon commended Perez’s enthusiasm and racing spirit, despite not achieving the team’s best result yet. Perez’s passion for racing and respect towards fellow drivers has impressed Lowdon and the team.
