Lando Norris Sets Sights on Triple Crown Glory: ‘Part One Accomplished’

Lando Norris has already ticked significant F1 achievements off his bucket list – can he extend his motorsport reach?

Lando Norris is considering pursuing motorsport’s Triple Crown, having already completed one of its components by winning the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Triple Crown, achieved only by Graham Hill, includes victories in the Monaco GP, the Indy 500, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Debate exists on whether winning the F1 championship or the Monaco GP is the Formula 1 element in the Triple Crown.

Having won Monaco and an F1 title, Norris aims to conquer events outside F1 to fulfill the historic Triple Crown challenge, possibly including the Indianapolis 500.

Norris expressed openness to trying other racing disciplines beyond F1, having admiration for IndyCar, rally, and motorsports in general.

Notably, no active F1 driver has won the Indy 500, although Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg have tasted success in different racing categories.

Inspired by his peers’ achievements outside F1, Norris finds the idea of pursuing the Triple Crown increasingly intriguing, despite never previously considering it.
