Liam Lawson will be investigated post-race after the incident involving Pierre Gasly.
Liam Lawson is under investigation by the Miami Grand Prix stewards for causing Pierre Gasly’s Alpine to flip over.
During Lap 6 at Turn 17, Lawson’s Racing Bulls car locked up as Gasly attempted to overtake on the outside, resulting in Gasly’s car rolling 360 degrees.
Gasly ended up on top of the barriers, fortunately unharmed, while Lawson had to retire due to the impact.
Lawson will have to explain the incident to the stewards after the race, and he may face a grid penalty at the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix.
