Liam Lawson has explained how the truth about F1’s new rules are still not totally clear.
Liam Lawson admitted uncertainty about the impact of F1’s new technical regulation tweaks following drivers’ discussions with the FIA. The Miami Grand Prix will see several rule changes implemented to address concerns arising in the first three races of the season. These changes include a reduction in recaptured energy to 7MJ and an increase in super-clipping limit to 350KW. Lawson believed the true effects of these modifications would only become clear once cars hit the track. He mentioned that although drivers couldn’t completely overhaul the rules during talks with the FIA, it was beneficial to have their concerns addressed. Lawson expressed hope that the adjustments would lead F1 in the right direction, acknowledging the challenges of implementing significant changes in the sport.
