Flavio Briatore has shut down any suggestion that Renault is not committed to the Alpine F1 project.

Colapinto earned his first point with a solid performance in China, while Gasly finished sixth in Shanghai and seventh in Suzuka in a fierce battle with Verstappen. The transition to being a Mercedes power unit customer and potential partnership with Brackley-based squad have raised questions about Renault’s long-term F1 commitment.
