Isack Hadjar’s Dream Debut Turns into Heartbreak with Red Bull Racing

Isack Hadjar’s Red Bull debut has ended in disaster, after starting strongly.

Isack Hadjar’s Red Bull F1 debut at the Australian Grand Prix ended in disaster due to an engine failure early in the race. Despite starting in third place, Hadjar was forced to retire while running fifth behind the leading cars of Ferrari and Mercedes. Smoke emerging from his Red Bull Powertrains-Ford engine led to the deployment of the virtual safety car and subsequent pit stops. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli pitted, but Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton did not, maintaining their positions at the front. Max Verstappen’s impressive climb from 20th to sixth was aided by not pitting, and saw him advance in the race standings. Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg’s failure to start the race further shook up the competition.
