George Russell facing double Australian GP stewards investigation
George Russell is facing a second stewards’ investigation at the Australian Grand Prix after not following the race director’s instructions. The Briton was called out for a practice start infringement during the second free practice session. It is not yet clear where Russell positioned himself to carry out the start, but it has piqued the stewards’ attention. This investigation adds to his summons for a pit lane collision with Arvid Lindblad at the start of FP2. Russell attempted to move into the fast lane but found his front wing being trodden on by the Racing Bulls rookie.
